We have taken our family vacations to Ducks Nest for years. I love this place! My kids have a great time swimming in the lake and hiking through the mountain and my husband and I love to watch the sunset and relax in the jacuzzi. You're completely secluded from the outside world and yet you're only about 15 minutes away from whitewater rafting and golfing. My daughter and I make a tradition of "girls day" in Blue Ridge to shop at the great antique and specialty shops. And a trip to Mercier Orchards is a must! If you need to unwind, this is the place to go!
